You will continue habitat management and wildlife surveys over our 76-acre site based on Gower, an AONB. You will be an ambassador for St Madoc Centre and A Rocha UK developing a dialogue with Christians, encouraging them to care for creation and create opportunities for volunteers to get involved. Requirements – relevant degree, experience in habitat management in the UK, field recording skills, excellent communication skills, driving licence.

Conservation Development Officer 2.5 days/week unpaid internship – two-year fixed term (can be combined with Conservation Officer role with free lodging on site and some meals provided). Training available.

This is a great opportunity to help the centre move into new forms of income generation. You will explore the potential for providing Christian and environmentally-based activities eg retreats, eco-holidays, etc. You will prepare a new strategy for submission to the board based on your research and seek funds to finance it. Funds may allow movement to a salaried role.
