Join A Rocha staff and local scientists at our Foxearth meadows nature reserve this June for a fun-filled, family-friendly nature experience! Led by experienced conservationists, we’ll be seeking out the many different species that call this corner of Essex their home. Highlights will include an evening bat walk, moth trapping and a community bioblitz to identify as many species as possible on our nature reserve.
Cycling past Foxearth Meadows, one could be forgiven for overlooking the potential of this unassuming little corner of Essex. Look closer, however, and the site is teeming with life. Famous for its dragonflies and damselflies, Foxearth Meadows is also home to nightingales, grasshopper warblers and otters. Join us in early June to discover what else has put down roots on our reserve. With guided activities and plenty of scientific expertise on hand to help identify species, this will a great day out for the whole family. Look out for more details next month!
