Foxearth Meadows Nature Reserve is tucked away in the north of Foxearth parish, next to Glemsford Pits. Nearest postcode is CO10 7HZ, a private residence called Constable’s Barn. The reserve is a couple of hundred yards north-west of there, down the hill on the right. You will see a verge with double gates.

From Foxearth
Head north and follow signposts to Glemsford for about ¾ mile, then turn right towards Liston. The reserve is on your left.

From Cavendish via A1092
Go past the Glemsford turn, and turn right at the brown ‘picnic site’ sign. Carry on over the River Stour past Foxearth Fisheries, follow the bend and turn left towards Liston. The reserve is on your left.

Turn left off the A1092 at the brown picnic sign a short way past the Phillips Avent factory. Carry on over the River Stour past Foxearth Fisheries, follow the bend and turn left towards Liston. The reserve is on your left.

From Sudbury towards Long Melford
Turn left for Foxearth, cross the river at Rod Bridge then turn first right to Liston. Keep going for over two miles. It’s winding lanes, but eventually you will reach the reserve. The entrance is on your right.
