Dragonflies and Damselflies for Beginners, Foxearth Meadows Nature Reserve

July 27

Image of a Ruddy Darter

If you don’t know your Large Red Damselflies from your Ruddy Darters, this event is for you.  Book on to a walk with our expert guide, David Chandler author of ‘Dragonfly’ and ‘A Beginner’s Guide to Dragonflies and Damselflies of Britain and Ireland’.

Meet in the car park. Bring a sun hat, sun cream and insect repellent, and close-focussing binoculars if you have them. Be prepared for a bit of uneven ground, and depending on the weather, maybe a bit of mud!

We’ve been really excited to see that Norfolk Hawker dragonflies have been seen several times as they expand their range.  What will you see?

Booking is essential as spaces are limited to 10 per walk. Click to book your preferred time slot: 10:30am-12noon OR 1:30-3pm
