Come along to the Eco Church Conference

Following a successful southern event in Central London at the weekend, we’re looking forward to the northern conference in Sheffield on 21st October.

With delegates already registered from far and wide, this is a wonderful opportunity for us to get together and share the journey of making our churches more sustainable.

Why not join us to hear from speakers such as Ruth Valerio – formerly of A Rocha UK, now Director of Global Advocacy and Influencing at Tearfund – A Rocha UK CEO Andy Atkins (pictured) and Harriet Carty, Director of Caring for God’s Acre?

These – and others – will be hosting surgeries to answer your questions about ways of improving the environmental impact of our churches.

Most of all, though, this is an opportunity to meet other people that struggle with the same challenges along the Eco Church journey. As the – allegedly – African proverb says, ‘If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together’. Join us as we build the community of churches committed to being good news for God’s earth.

‘Our vision is for churches to care for creation as an integral part of loving their neighbours and following God,’ said our Engagement Director Rich Bee. ‘This conference will help them make a start. How can you and your church bring worship truly “down to earth”? Join us to find out!’
