The world is facing a biodiversity and climate crisis. ARocha UK, the Christian nature conservation charity’s mission is to equip Christians and Churches to care for the environment and we are growing quickly as we seek to respond to these challenges. 

We are therefore seeking a Finance and Resources Director to join our team. In this new senior post you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of A Rocha UK’s ambitious goals, by ensuring the efficient running of the organisation’s financial management, the further development of other central services such as IT and HR, and by driving strategic projects such as the development of a volunteer programme. Working closely with the external facing CEO, Andy Atkins, the FDR will also play a key role also in shaping a modern, professional and Christian working culture, based in our new hub office.

Contract length: The role is offered on a permanent contract at 3 days/22.5 hours per week.  We will consider a full time appointment for candidates with the skills and availability to personally implement the HR/People component of the brief.

Salary:  £53k-59k depending on experience (pro rata if part-time) plus 7% employer’s pension contribution, and £1,000 London weighting (pro rata) for those living within the M25.   

Location:  Working out of A Rocha UK’s national office in Brentford, West London, with some flexibility for home working possible.
