Scargill House welcomes visitors to their 90 acre estate in beautiful Wharfdale, Yorkshire Dales, throughout the year. It is home to a Christian community that runs holidays, conferences and retreats in a spectacular setting. They share hospitality, creativity, fun and food together – refreshing and equipping churches, groups and individuals, of all faiths and none.

Scargill already has an excellent record of caring for God’s earth, with sustainable heating powered by a biomass boiler. Their food is sourced locally and they engage visitors in the theology of caring for God’s earth. We are looking forward to working together on creative ways to help wildlife on the estate as well as growing the sustainable lifestyle of the community.
